4️⃣🎭 The fourth production of Season 71 at the Playhouse is: Next to Normal with book and lyrics by Brian Yorkey and music by Tom Kitt. This production is being produced in conjunction with Mid-Plains Community College. Directed by Ritch Galvan.🎟Next to Normal is a deeply moving 2008 rock musical that explores how one suburban household copes with crisis and mental illness. The show takes the audience into the minds and hearts of each character, presenting their family's story with love, sympathy, and heart. ***Contains adult content and language.***

📌Audition Dates: Monday, August 11th 6 – 8 PM in the Canteen Room
Tuesday, August 12th 6 - 8 PM at NPCC Music Room on South Campus: McDonald Belton building, Room 115
Ages 16+ are encouraged to audition. *Parental Consent for 16-18 year olds.*
***Early auditions are due to the musical demand of the show***
From August 2025 to January 2026, there will be two monthly music rehearsals on available weekends. Weekly rehearsals will begin on Monday, February 16, 2026, and run from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
The cast includes three women and five men.
