Corchaug Repertory Theatre will be holding auditions for the remainder of its 2024-2025 season on February 10 and 11 at 5:30 each evening at the Riverhead Free Library.
Actors of all genders, ethnicities, and identities are encouraged to attend.

Jamesport Meeting House
The world is getting hotter, there’s unrest overseas—the seas themselves aren’t very calm—and one couple is thinking about having a child. LUNGS is a smart and funny drama that follows a couple through the surprising lifecycle of their relationship, as they grapple with questions of family and change, hope, betrayal, happenstance, and the terrible pain that you can only cause the people you love.
Casting Needs:
W: Late 20s to late 30s; she is at a stage in life where societal expectations around settling down are prevalent and starting a family are urgent but overwhelming; intelligent, articulate, and highly self-aware; a PhD Student
M:Late 20s to late 30s, similar in age to W; a musician, laid-back, grounded, and supportive; pragmatic and objective at times

This absurdist exploration of ego and mortality is set in the crumbling throne-room of the palace in an unnamed country where King Berenger the First has only the duration of the play to live. Once, it seemed he ruled over an immense empire and commanded great armies, now his kingdom has shrunk to the confines of his garden wall. Refusing to accept his end, he is attended by his present and former Queens who must help him face the final inevitable truth of life: death.
