Bay Area Stage Theatre invites talent from all over the Bay Area, to audition for Little Shop of Horrors (Broadway Version), the fantastical musical, by Howard Ashman (Book & Lyrics) and Alan Menken (Music). Directed at Bay Area Stage Theatre, by Jeff Lowe and Musically Directed by Brian Sennello

đź“Ť Location: Bay Area Stage Theatre. đź“… Date: May 23, 24, 25 7PM to 9PM. Arrive at 7PM. No individually timed appointments needed.
1) Please select the date of your requested audition directly on Zeffy -

2) Please come prepared with physical sheet music in your key (preferred) and/or a Youtube link to the track of your audition song or a copy on USB. No a capella. No vocal accompaniment on audition track.
3) Please have your audition song memorized.
4) Dress for easy, yet active movement.
5) No monologues are required. Cold Read from libretto.
6) Rehearsals begin: August 2, 2026 and are Monday through Thursday from 7PM to 10PM
Tech Week Begins: Saturday, September 26

Friday's and Saturday's at 8PM and Sunday matinees at 3PM

Seymour Krelborn –
Meek, insecure floral assistant; the protagonist
Audrey –
Bleach-blonde shop girl with low self-esteem; Seymour’s love interest
Mr. Mushnik –
Owner of the failing flower shop; Seymour’s boss/adoptive father figure
Orin Scrivello, D.D.S. –
Sadistic dentist; Audrey’s abusive boyfriend
Audrey II (The Plant) –
Carnivorous alien plant (puppet + voice actor)
