Tacoma Little Theatre is holding auditions for the West Coast Premiere of Hallmarked, a new musical by Michael D. Fox and Cameron, Dawn & Quinn Dietlein. This production will be directed by Chris Serface & Cassie Jo Fastabend, choreographed by Heather Arnseon, and music directed by Debra Leach.
Auditions will be held on Sunday, August 16th at Tacoma Little Theatre (210 N I Street, Tacoma, WA 98403) beginning at 6:00pm, and Monday & Tuesday, August 17th & 18th at People's Community Center (1602 M.L.K. Jr Way, Tacoma, WA 98405) beginning at 7:00pm. Callbacks will be held on Thursday, August 20th at People's Community Center. All actors must schedule their appointment using Casting Manager at the link below.
It seems everyone on the planet is obsessed with Hallmark movies. Everyone except Julie. She had her heart stomped on once and it will not happen again. No way. No how. Not even in Idyllic, Vermont. She refuses to be ‘Hallmarked’! Oh, no! Who’s the guy in the plaid flannel? Packed with fabulous new pop songs, loads of laughter, and heartwarming delight, Hallmarked is a rom-com fever dream that lovingly spoofs a beloved genre while celebrating everything audiences love about it.
Anyone and Everyone is invited to audition for any production at Tacoma Little Theatre regardless of any physical attribute, gender, race, age, ability, body type, ethnicity, expressions, or experience. All roles for this production are available.
Auditioners are asked to prepare a cutting of a musical theatre or pop style song no longer than two minutes. Please bring sheet music in the correct key, an accompanist will be provided. A copy of the script is available for perusal to become familiar with the show through Casting Manager. The Hallmarked Original Cast Album can be found on all major streaming platforms.
All actors cast receive a travel reimbursement up to $250.00.
Once cast, Hallmarked will begin rehearsals on September 28th. The production will run from Friday, December 4th, 2026, to Sunday, December 27th, 2026, for a total of 20 performances.
