Auditions for our Winter musical, GODSPELL, will be held Monday and Tuesday, December 16 & 17 at 7:30 PM at KCT. Choose one of the nights to attend.Ten roles are available for ages 18-60. All roles sing extensively and most have solos or are carrying single parts in the ensemble.
Please prepare a one minute section of a Broadway showtune to sing without accompaniment or with your own phone as accompaniment. Memorization is not required, but is helpful.
At the audition you will be asked to fill out the audition form, cold read with others auditioning, and learn a short dance routine (modifications available). You will also be asked to sing the solo that you have prepared.

Based on the New Testament gospels, mostly St. Matthew, GODSPELL uses the parables and passion story of Jesus for an inventively theatrical and inter-active show about the formation of a community – and the demonstration of joy. An eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, shine as Jesus’ life dances across the stage. Dissolving hauntingly into the Last Supper and the Crucifixion, Jesus’ messages of kindness, tolerance and love come vibrantly to life in GODSPELL.
