🎭 AUDITION NOTICE — Disney’s High School Musical Jr⭐️ Calling all actors ages 10–18! ⭐️
Mankato Playhouse is holding auditions for our upcoming Broadway Junior production of Disney’s High School Musical Jr — a high-energy, upbeat musical filled with fun roles, big dance numbers, and plenty of Wildcats spirit. Whether you’re a singer, dancer, actor, or brand-new to the stage… we’d love to see you audition!

🌟 WHAT TO EXPECT:
Auditions will consist of:
• Sing 16-32 bars of Pop / Musical Theatre Pop
*please have music in binder for the accompaniment.*
• Please perform a memorized 1-2 minute contemporary monologue (preferably comedic)
No experience is necessary. This is a supportive, welcoming environment where young performers can grow, learn, and shine.

👥 WHO CAN AUDITION:
Youth performers ages 10–18 of all experience levels.
We encourage students who are new to theatre and those with experience to come out and give it a try.

🎵 SHOW SYNOPSIS:
Follow Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay, Ryan, and the entire East High crew as they navigate friendship, expectations, and the courage to step outside their comfort zones. Packed with iconic songs and energetic dance numbers, High School Musical Jr is a perfect opportunity for young performers to show off their talent and teamwork.
