Audition Requirements: Please prepare 32 bars of a contemporary (1970+) musical theater song (no a cappella singing – an accompanist will be provided)

Please note, this show requires Irish dialects.
Cast may not be required to attend every rehearsal or be called for the entire rehearsal.
Individuals auditioning will know by Monday evening or Tuesday by noon via email if you are being called back. It is entirely possible we will cast some people without calling them back.

Seeking actors who can sing for the following roles:
Alfie Byrne
Average looks and build, he is a closeted virgin and a dreamer who idolizes Oscar Wilde. He runs the theatre group in the church. He is in love with his coworker Robbie but wrestles with his sexuality throughout the story. Lives with his older sister, Lily.

Robbie
Alfie's coworker and closest friend. He is charming, honest, and likeable.

Alfie's older sister who lives with and cares deeply for him but finds him odd. She is socially and morally conservative and believes she can’t marry Carney until Alfie finds a wife.

Adele Rice

The local butcher who is the usual star of Alfie's productions and loves to boast about it. The most socially and morally conservative member of the community and secretary of the church’s sodality. Wants to marry Lily. Oscar Wilde, Alfie’s obsession, and famous playwright, appears to and only be seen by Alfie.
