Ferrell Studios is proud to announce auditions for our summer musical "The Wild Party".
AUDITIONS (BY APPOINTMENT ONLY)
Prepare 16-32 bars of a musical theater piece in the style of the show. Auditions will be a capella only.
As this show is rated-R, only actors ages 18 and over will be permitted to audition.
Tuesday, May 21, 7pm-10pm at the mignolo Arts Center (Metuchen, NJ)

CALLBACKS (BY INVITATION ONLY)
If invited, callbacks will take place on Wednesday, May 22 from 8:30pm-11:30pm at the mignolo Arts Center and will consist of a dance, vocal, and acting audition.
REHEARSALS
Rehearsals will be scheduled based on cast availability and will take place at the mignolo Arts Center in Metuchen, NJ.
TECH
Technical rehearsals will take place from August 18-22 in the evening. All cast is required to attend.

ABOUT "THE WILD PARTY"
A steamy prohibition tale, steamrolling and roaring its way across the stage, Andrew Lippa's Wild Party was an Off-Broadway gem that garnered an array of industry accolades, including Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Obie awards. Based on Joseph Moncure March's 1928 narrative poem of the same name, this darkly brilliant show features one of the most exciting, pulse-racing scores ever written.
Lovers Queenie and Burrs decide to throw the party-to-end-all-parties in their Manhattan apartment. After the colorful arrival of a slew of guests living life on the edge, Queenie's wandering eyes land on a striking man named Black. As the decadence is reaching a climax, so is Burrs' jealousy, which erupts and sends him into a violent rage. Gun in hand and inhibitions abandoned, Burrs turns on Queenie and Black. The gun gets fired, but who's been shot?
This production is rated R and includes content warnings for sexual violence, abuse, and strong language. Audience members under the age of 18 are prohibited.
