The Music Box Dinner Playhouse would like to announce auditions for JEKYLL & HYDE the Musical! Auditions:
Wednesday, January 15

About the Show:
This thrilling musical, based on Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic tale, explores the eternal struggle between good and evil. Featuring a captivating pop-rock score by Grammy and Tony-nominated Frank Wildhorn and Oscar and Grammy-winning Leslie Bricusse, the show tells the story of Dr. Henry Jekyll, a brilliant scientist whose experiments unleash his sinister alter ego, Mr. Hyde. As two women—one trusting and the other fiercely independent—fall in love with the same man, they remain unaware of the horrifying secret he hides.
Requirements and Commitments:
Rehearsals will begin the week of January 20 and will be held on weeknights and weekends, following an efficient schedule provided after the initial read-through. Tech week is mandatory and runs from March 9 to March 13. Performances are scheduled for March 14-16, 21-23, and 28-30.
Audition Requirements:
Prepare 16–32 bars of a song from Jekyll & Hyde or in a similar style. Please bring a karaoke or instrumental track on a phone or tablet, as no accompanist will be provided. Acapella auditions will not be allowed. Auditionees should also dress for a short dance call. Cold readings from the script may be requested.
Tentatively, the dance audition will be first, followed by vocal auditions and readings from the script.

Casting:
All roles are open. Actors must be 18 or older. Performers of all ethnicities and gender identities are strongly encouraged to audition.
