THE CHARACTERS
Peterborough Theatre Guild is an inclusive and accepting organization. All are welcome to audition for the following roles.
Maggie (Female)
The oldest of three nurses. She instructs the others on duties and responsibilities. She is the most experienced and has a “crusty edge”. She can make quick decisions in emergencies but is actually emotionally rather fragile.
Christy (Female)
She is sweet-tempered and sometimes misses her husband whom she secretly married before shipping out. She corresponds frequently with him but is deeply conflicted now that she has had a taste of freedom on her own.
Bab (Female)
She is as tough as nails! Underneath the bluster, she longs for her beloved grandfather, is in love with a married soldier and might have to have a child on her own.
