To close out a spectacular season, One More Productions proudly presents one of the most beloved musicals of all time, Fiddler on the Roof. A timeless story of tradition, family, and love.
Set in the little village of Anatevka, this heartwarming tale follows Tevye, a poor dairyman, as he tries to uphold his Jewish traditions while the world around him rapidly changes.
With unforgettable songs like “Tradition,” “If I Were a Rich Man,” “Sunrise, Sunset,” and “Matchmaker,” this classic musical continues to touch hearts across generations.
Fiddler on the Roof is a moving celebration of faith, resilience, and the bonds that keep us together.
It’s a show for the whole family and a beautiful way to gather and reflect on the meaning of home and community at the holidays.

Doors open at 6:30pm. Auditions begin at 7:00pm. First come first seen. You must have a headshot or current photo with a resume and sheet music. No submissions accepted.
OPEN VOCAL CALL Monday, October 12th
Accompanist is provided. Be prepared to sing 16-32 measures. Provide sheet music in the proper key and in a 3-ring binder. Please no songs from the show.
OPEN DANCE CALL Tuesday, October 13th
Be prepared to dance. Please be prepared with proper dance shoes and attire.
INVITED CALLBACKS Wednesday, October 14th
By invitation only. Doors will open at 7pm. Callbacks begin at 7:30pm.
Rehearsals begin October 17th and run Mondays – Thursdays 7pm to 11pm, Saturdays 10am – 6pm and some Sundays 12pm – 6pm. Not everyone will be called to all rehearsals.
Performances run November 12th – December 20th. Thursdays – Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm. There are no shows on Thursdays 11/26, 12/3, 12/10. There are 2pm and 8pm shows on Saturdays 11/28, 12/5, 12/12.
There is a stipend of $700.00.

FIDDLER – CHARACTER BREAKDOWN
TEVYE: Male, 40-55, Vocal Range F4-Ab2
The narrator, main character and heart of the story. Tevye is the hardworking father of five daughters, an impoverished milkman, a leader in his Jewish community, and husband to the headstrong Golde. He is faced with struggles to uphold the traditions of his people, especially through the marriages of his daughters. Likeable, hard-working, pious, a dreamer, who tries to see the positive side of life. Can show stubbornness and rage when pushed. Very strong actor with great comedic timing and strong connection to the audience.
GOLDE: Female, 35-50, Vocal Range Eb5-A3
Tevye’s strong-willed wife of twenty-five years and mother of his five daughters. Golde is an efficient helpmate and traditionalist, faced with changes of a “new world.” She wished for her daughters to have good husbands. She has a sharp tongue and wit. Her love of family helps her face the challenges they encounter. Strong comedic timing.
TZEITEL: Female, 18-25, Vocal Range D5-B3
Tevye and Golde’s eldest daughter, Tzeitel is in love with Motel, whom she eventually marries instead of Lazar Wolf. Loyal to her family but challenges the town’s traditions.
HODEL: Female, 16-22, Vocal Range E5-B3
Tevye and Golde’s second daughter. She falls in love with Perchik and they defy tradition by not seeking her father’s permission to marry. She leaves Anatevka for Siberia to be with the imprisoned Perchik.
CHAVA: Female, 15-20, Vocal Range D5-B3
Tevye's middle daughter who loves to read. Falls in love and runs off with Fydeka, a Russian soldier. This huge break from tradition breaks her father’s heart and Chava becomes dead to him. Strong ballet dancer.
SHPRINTZE: Female, 9-13, Vocal Range D5-B3
Tevye's fourth eldest daughter who takes lessons at home from Perchik.
BIELKE: Female, 8-12, Vocal Range D5-B3
Tevye’s youngest daughter who takes lessons at home from Perchik.
YENTE: Female, 50-60, Vocal Range F5-F3
The village’s meddling matchmaker. She is a widow and busybody who knows all the town gossip. Strong comedic timing.
MOTEL KAMZOIL: Male, 18-25, Vocal Range F#4-E3
The poor and meek tailor who shares a deep love with Tzeitel. Sensitive and nervous, but sincere and friendly. Strong character actor with good comedic timing.
PERCHIK: Male, 20-30, Vocal Range E4-B2
The outspoken student and visitor to Anatevka, who constantly challenges the traditions of the town. He falls in love with Hodel. He leaves Anatevka to work for the revolution in Kiev and is arrested and sent to prison in Siberia. Likeable and charming but also unfailing in his commitment to his radical beliefs.
FYEDKA: Male, 20-25,
A strong, young Russian soldier who sees past his military obligations and falls in love with Chava. Strong actor and dancer. Russian accent.
LAZAR WOLF: Male, 40-55, Vocal Range F#4-C3
The town’s feisty, brawny butcher and it’s wealthiest citizen. He is the widower of Fruma-Sarah, and the man Yente sets as a match for Tzeitel
GRANDMA TZEITEL: Female, 55-75, Vocal Range D5-C#4
Golde’s deceased grandmother, who appears as a ghost in the dream sequence and endorses the marriage between Tzeitel and Motel.
FRUMA-SARAH: Female, 35-50, Vocal Range Eb5-C4
Lazar Wolf’s deceased first wife. She becomes enraged at her husband’s plans to wed Tzeitel. She appears as a ghost in the dream sequence to warn Tevye and Golde not to allow Tzeitel to marry her husband or dire results will befall the family.
AVRAM: Male, 40-60,
Runs the local bookshop and keeps the town advised of all the news in the area.
CONSTABLE: Male, 35-60
Local Russian official. Though he has a good relationship with Tevye, follows his orders to perform an “unofficial demonstration” during Tzeitel and Motel’s wedding, and then forces all the Jewish villagers to leave Anatevka.
MORDCHA: Male, 30-65
An innkeeper who runs the local bar and is a friend of Tevye.
RABBI: Male, 50-70
Anatevka’s Jewish spiritual leader
MENDEL: Male, 18-40
The Rabbi’s son
ENSEMBLE: Men and Women 18-65
To play the villagers of Anatevka and Russian soldiers, including The Fiddler, Shandel, Motel’s Mother; Nahum, the beggar; Yussel, the hatter; Sasha, Fyedka’s Friend, as well as featured dancers and soloists.
