We're looking for energetic performers who love to sing, act, and bring larger-than-life characters to the stage. Whether you're auditioning for the lovable George, the Man with the Yellow Hat, Chef Pisghetti, or one of the many colorful characters in the show, we can't wait to see you!
Audition Information
Please prepare approximately 16 bars of a song.
An accompanist will be provided.
Please bring your own sheet music in the proper key, marked with any cuts.
Character Breakdown
George (Male)
An inquisitive little monkey and best friend of the Man with the Yellow Hat. George never speaks but communicates through expressive movement and playful ""chitters.""
Man with the Yellow Hat (Male – Tenor, D3–Ab4)
George's kindhearted guardian and best friend.
Chef Pisghetti (Male – E3–F4)
George's friend and owner of a neighborhood restaurant. He hopes to win the Golden Meatball Contest with George's help. (Italian accent.)
Phinneas (Male – E3–A4)
A charismatic inventor whose Meatball-o-Matic 9000 threatens Chef Pisghetti's chances in the contest.
Netti (Female – Bb3–Ab5)
Chef Pisghetti's loyal wife and kitchen assistant. (Italian accent.)
Frankie Sidecar (Female – Bb3–Ab5)
The energetic emcee and judge of the Golden Meatball Contest.
Please note: With the exception of George, performers will portray multiple characters throughout the production.
