Three Age Groups:
Junior: 7-12 years old
Young Adult: 13-17 years old
Adult: 18 years and older
Audition Date: SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 7

Performer auditioning will sing a song from a Broadway Musical that they would sing in their preliminary round of competition. Bring your backing track on a device that can pair to a bluetooth speaker that will be provided. You will have 1 minute 30 seconds to audition. SELL IT!
MUST PORTRAY A CHARACTER. COSTUMES ENCOURAGED.
CLOSED AUDITIONS. No audience members allowed.
Three Preliminary Rounds (contestant will only sing in one preliminary round)
Round 1- Friday, September 26 at 7:00 PM
Round 2 - Saturday, September 27 at 4PM
Round 3 - Saturday, September 27 at 7PM
Number of contestants chosen for each round and chosen to move forward to finals will be determined by number of contestants chosen to participate.
Finals on Saturday, October 4 at 7:00 PM. If advanced to the finals, you will sing TWO contrasting songs.
Contestants chosen to participate will pay a $35 production fee.
SCORING
Three judges will provide feedback after each performance and score each contestant based on the following criteria:
-Vocal Quality (1-5) for 50% of judges' score
-- Right Song Choice for Voice
-- Pitch/Tone/Range
-- Projection and Articulation
-Character (1-5) for 35% of judges' score
-- Costume
-- Believable
-- Portrayed character
-Stage Presence (1-5) for 15% of judges' score
-- Use of stage
-- Audience appeal
-- Overall presentation
People's Choice will take place during the finals only. People's Choice WILL NOT be part of the preliminary rounds and be a part of determining who moves on to the finals.
The audience will vote for their favorites in the finals via Venmo. $1 = 1 Vote. The contestant with the most votes will get 5 points, the second most 4 points, and so on. This will be combined with the judges' score to decide winners.
Prizes:
Junior Champion - $300, Trophy.
Young Adult Champion - $400, Trophy.
Adult Champion - $500, Trophy.
First Runner Ups will receive Season Tickets to 30 by Ninety remaining productions for the 12th Season.
Admission to the LIVE shows will be $12 per person and will be limited in availability. Tickets will go on sale one week prior to the preliminary and final rounds.
