🎭 Stained Glass Theatre Joplin will hold auditions for "Murder In Bloom" on August 24th and 25th, 2026. This show will have a cast of 5 women, 2 men, and 3 girls in the late teens. Auditionees are required to present a prepared one-minute monologue, or they may use the monologue provided in the graphic below.
You may attend one or both nights of auditions.This production is NOT a musical. Performance dates are October 1st-4th, 2026, Thursday - Friday at 7pm, Saturday at 2:30pm and 7pm, and Sunday at 2:30pm.
🎭 Show synopsis: What could seem more innocent than a ladies’ garden club? That’s exactly what everyone believed in the quiet, uneventful town of St. Basil-on-Green—until the wealthiest woman in town is mysteriously murdered during one of their meetings. Which of these seemingly harmless members could be capable of such a crime? The story builds to a gripping conclusion, delivering chills, humor, and touching moments along the way.
"Murder In Bloom" is written by Thomas Hischak and is produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service, Inc., Englewood. Colorado. This show will be directed by Megan Cable and Lee Doss.
