INFORMATION ABOUT THE SHOW:
Inspired by the Twentieth Century Fox Motion Picture by special arrangement with Buena Vista Theatrical, Anastasia tells the story of a brave young woman (Anya) who sets out to discover the mystery of her past. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer (Gleb) who is determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing con man (Dimitry) and a lovable ex-aristocrat (Vlad). Together, they embark on an epic adventure to help her find home, love and family.
Anastasia explores themes of identity, the search for home and family, and the courage to forge a new future over dwelling on the past.
For the most part the dance requirements would be considered “moderate” musical theatre style. However, there is a brief ballet performance of Swan Lake and classical ballet/pointe skills are desired.
Please note that this is not the “youth” version.
