Always Patsy Cline is based on the true story of Patsy Cline’s friendship with an avid fan from Houston, Louise Seger. Louise befriends Patsy in a Texas honky tonk bar in 1961; they continue corresponding until Patsy’s death.
This is a two-person cast. Those auditioning for the role of Patsy should be age 30-45 and will be asked to sing “Crazy” and perform a cold reading.
Those auditioning for the role of Louise should be middle-aged women who can play as fun-loving and spunky! Louise has a substantial amount of lines and basically carries the story of the show. She also sings some songs with Patsy. Please come prepared to perform a cold reading and a few bars of the song “Blue Moon of Kentucky” or “Walking After Midnight.”
All songs should be either a cappella or with your own track prepared on your device.
Performance dates are May 23, 2025, through June 1, 2025.
