Audition for the South Beach Players' comedy, MegaMillions!

You’re cordially invited to audition for MegaMillions, the South Beach Players’ new comedy on Feb. 23 and 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Floridana Beach clubhouse (6635 S Hwy A1A Melbourne Beach). What’s the play about? Pat’s kwik‑e‑mart is hours from foreclosure when a hungover fisherman accidentally buys the winning lottery ticket. Cue the ghost of Jerry Garcia, an emotional support raccoon and greedy timeshare salesmen. Sunshine, scams, and second chances collide in this outrageous Melbourne Beach comedy!

We will be casting the following roles:1. PAT, kwik-e-mart owner, wears a T-shirt saying “Save the kwik-e-mart.”2. TIMESHARE SALESMEN # 1, #2 & #3, annoying people with brochures.3. CUSTOMERS #1, #2 & #3, random people buying lottery tickets.4. KEN Retiree-Community Leader, wears a “Save the kwik-e-mart” t-shirt5. SUNSHINE SAGEBRUSH, Hippie, Sunbather and wife of Ken, wears a T-shirt saying “Save the blinking yellow light.”6. DONNA Retired Floridana resident, raccoon enthusiast7. FIFI, Actor in raccoon costume with French accent.8. BOB, Lawyer and retiree. Always carries a briefcase.9. DOUG DÜSSELDORF, Professional slacker who enjoys smoking and drinking.10. SYLVIA Retired carnival worker.11. GEORGE, Retired Boston police detective with heavy Boston accent.12. THE GHOST OF JERRY GARCIA

April 6 --Monday Move in to the church fellowship hall -- ALL HANDS ON DECK!

Performances April 23, 24, 25, 26 April 30, May 1, 2 and 3 at the St. Sebastian’s by-the-sea Episcopal Church at 2010 Oak St in Melbourne Beach
