Join us on Saturday, April 5th from 10:30 AM to 1 PM for a day of learning all things theatre! 🎉
From 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, Nicci Grigsby will be leading us in an auditioning 101 lecture, covering audition etiquette, preparation, expectations, and even an optional mock audition at the end!
Then, we take a short break to have a special Q&A session from 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM to discuss all things technical theatre and FCP! Have a question about creating a costume plot? Curious as to what a stage manager does for a show? Stuck on how to design a set? Wondering how to get involved with FCP on our crews and committees? Bring your question to our panel of Board Members and tech crew members, and we will be happy to answer!
Finally, Nicci will lead us in a Directing 101 Workshop from 12:00 - 1:00 PM to cover all the directing basics! From how to block a show, to directing techniques and tricks, to delegating tasks to your show’s crew, and so much more! Want to learn what a director does and how they do it so well? We encourage you to stay for all three sessions, but please feel free to drop in as needed!
