AUDAX SA - BOOTLEGGER NIGHT RIDE - FRIDAY 6 MARCH 2026Now in its 13th straight year, Adelaide’s own Bootlegger night ride returns for 2026.
Under a moonlit sky, choose one of four distance options. All start in North Adelaide, and travel through Birdwood into the heart of the Adelaide Hills.
A 120km option if perfect for new night riders - you'll share the course with the longer distances until heading for home at Nairne (75km).
All distances 200km and upwards travel to Murray Bridge, and back through Mount Barker and Crafers. You’ll be back in North Adelaide in time for breakfast!
The 300km and 400km distances have additional loops south of Adelaide - perfect for long distance riders training for night starts such as Paris Brest Paris.
There is also an option to take an alternative 200km route which includes 14km of gravel roads!
RIDE DETAILS
The Bootlegger is an overnight ride, covering 120km, 200km, 300km or 400km through the Adelaide Hills.
REQUIREMENTS
All riders must comply with Audax Australia ride rules.
SUPPORT AND FACILITIES
This is an unsupported ride – all riders are expected to carry or buy food, drinks and any other spares during the ride - 24h service stations are available along the way.
