The Kids Zone is the ultimate hangout for curious, creative tamariki, filled with hands on fun throughout the day. From crafts to storytime sessions and interactive activities, there’s plenty to keep young minds and busy hands entertained. Discover what we have planned below.
Raingutter Regatta

Choose your vessel and try to beat your buddy! Take a deep breath and see who will make it over the finish line first.
Storytime
Sat 14 and Sun 15 March, 10.30am, 11.30am, 1pm & 2pm
Climb aboard for ocean tales, salty adventures, and seaside creatures big and small.
Make a Sea Story Puppet
Sat 14 & Sun 15 March, 10am - 5pm
Colour and create a paper puppet, choose a salty sailor or a mysterious mermaid, and tell your own ocean story.
Float Your Boat
Sat 14 & Sun 15 March, 10am - 5pm
Design your own mini sailboat and see if it stays upright on the water. Play with balance, weight, and shape to make a boat that won’t tip over.
