Join us at our June meeting! This will be held on Saturday 6th June. We are in the Friends Building (south of the carpark), at the Auckland Botanic Gardens, 100 Hill Road, Manurewa. Our speaker is Ellen Schindler, a permaculture gardener in Auckland. Although she usually runs workshops on planting backyard bananas and growing mushrooms at Kelmarna Gardens/Gribblehirst Hub, she is going to talk to us about downsizing your garden. This topic is one that often comes suddenly due to an injury, health issues or moving house. Ellen has lots of tips and tricks about this, and will also cover an assortment of other topics including raised beds, grafting and rat trapping.
Afterwards we will have a shared morning tea/lunch, so please bring something tasty to share - maybe something from your garden ð Please also bring a mug and small plate.
