AAA returns for ANZAC weekend this year 25th-27th of April. We are going with a flat $80 entry fee for the event with lunch being provided. Ticket price will increase on the 11th of April to dissuade late signups. This year we will have longswords, sideswords, shields and bucklers available to be borrowed for those in need.

Mixed Weapons:
Competitors may use any combination of the following weapons, Dagger (+2) Buckler (+2) Cape (+2) Sidesword (+4) Arming Sword (+4) Rotella/shield (+4) Rapier (+6)
The competitor with the higher total points will start the match with the difference between their points deducted. I.E. Red fighter has two sideswords which is 8 points total and the blue fighter chooses only a rapier for 6 points. Red fighter will start the match at -2 points.
"The Provocation"
A version of the provocation was last run in 2019 as an inter club competition. We've decided to bring it back and make it bigger and better. Teams will be based on the club and/or region you are from, Auckland will be divided into multiple teams to account for the home number advantage. Very small teams and individuals may be merged to balance the event. The exact rules and format for "The Provocation" are still being worked on more details will follow.
