The Holdenby House Trail & Canicross 2025!
You will run through the grounds of the 2,000 acre Holdenby Estate. The 16th Century house in Northamptonshire was a palace to King James I and then a prison to his son King Charles I after his defeat in the Civil War.
Now a family home, the grounds are used for exclusive events and it's gardens are loved by all.
The traffic free, 5.4Km trail, follows trails through the grounds and the surrounding farmland with fantastic views of the country house, finishing through the iconic arches that adorn the grounds.
The 5k will complete one lap of the course, the 10k will complete two laps, while the Half Marathon will complete four laps.
If you enjoy running with your 4-legged furry friend, then we also have a 5k Canicross, that will start 15 minutes before the main race. All dogs taking part must be wearing a suitable running harness attached to a bungee line and waist belt. (Dogs will not be accepted into the event with their leash attached to their collar)
All participants will take home a stunning custom designed medal and goodies!

ATW Transfer & Refund Policy
At ATW, we understand that sometimes plans change. While we do not offer refunds or transfers to another person, we provide a hassle-free event transfer option for those unable to attend their booked event. If you are unable to participate in your scheduled event for any reason—including injury, illness, pregnancy, bereavement, or other unforeseen circumstances—you can transfer your entry to any future ATW event. There is no proof required, we trust you!
Even better news, transfers can be made all the way up to 48 hours before your original event date.

We have now become a national events company in the UK, specialising in Running, Triathlon, Duathlon, Aquathon, Cycling, Swimming and all permutation of swim-bike run events.
