We are pleased to announce a SECOND installment of the Knowledge Movement Youth Session!!
We are grateful for Attorney Reed's energy and time to come back to his hometown and teach young and old about the financial keys to success!!
From Attorney Mario A. Reed after the First installment of the Youth Session in February:
Nothing like going home to the Park Forest Public Library for a cause as rewarding as pouring into Young People!!! Thanks to the stellar efforts of Gina Maria Davis-Mireles & Mike Mireles of High Performance Fitness we were able to fill up 30 seats on a Monday evening in February. This evening's workshop covered:
-TRUST FUNDS
-INVESTING & GROWING WEALTH
-CREDIT (UTILIZATION, SECURE VS. UNSECURED, LEVERAGING & MORE)
-STUDENT LOANS (SUBSIDIZED VS. UNSUBSIDIZED, PUBLIC -SERVICE LOAN FORGIVENESS, PUBLIC VS. PRIVATE)
-HOME OWNERSHIP
-MORTGAGES
-HOME EQUITY
-HONDAS
So many of the young people had engaging and probing questions, but, the adults in the room had just as many and seemingly walked away learning just as much!!!
The Knowledge Movement is a commitment to "sharing knowledge" and ensuring that no one can say "No one ever told me"!!!
Please, make sure to grab a young person and pour into them in everyway you possibly can, as we owe it to our futures to help mold and shape the young people with the lessons and tools we never received or received much later in life!!!!
We'll be announcing the March workshop very soon and look forward to continuing to grow the Knowledge Movement Teen & Young People session to help ensure that their futures are much brighter and informed than many of ours ever were!!!
