A trained microbiologist, academic scholar, and national leader, Dr. Wubah has held senior roles at institutions including Virginia Tech, the University of Florida, James Madison University, and Washington and Lee. His research has been published in more than 60 peer-reviewed journals and supported by the NIH, NSF, USDA, and Howard Hughes Medical Institute. He is an elected Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and a traditional chief in Ghana, where he is known as Nana Ofosu Peko III.

In this session, Dr. Wubah will speak about leading complex institutions, the importance of research and mentorship, and how cultural identity, service, and science can all inform a meaningful life.
