Does your dog get too excited to listen on walks or around distractions? Pulling, sniffing, forgetting you exist the moment you leave the house?You’re not alone, and this class was built for exactly that.
Attention & Focus Foundations is a 4-week group class designed to help dogs learn how to notice, respond, and refocus; and to help handlers feel confident knowing what to do when things get busy.
✅ This class is a great fit for:
• Beginner handlers
• Friendly but overly excited dogs
• Dogs who struggle to focus on walks or in public
• Anyone who wants calmer, more connected outings
🎯 What we’ll work on:
• Teaching dogs to check in voluntarily
• Building attention around distractions
• Foundation recall skills
• Calm walking patterns you can actually use in real life
All exercises are on leash, with structured space between dogs to create a calm, supportive learning environment.
⚠️ Please note:
This class is not appropriate for dogs who are aggressive, highly fearful, or unsafe to handle in a group setting. If you’re unsure whether this class is a good fit, please message me before registering.
🎒 What to bring:
• Harness or flat buckle collar
• 6-foot leash (no retractables)
• LOTS of high-value treats
• Water & poop bags
