About this Event

These sessions will combine a mixture of training led by York's leading chess coach with plenty of opportunities for competitive play and an afternoon tournament on each day of the summer school.

Aimed at 8-15 year olds looking to improve their play, each session will use the style and games of a top play to understand more about attacking, positional and rapid play.

Sessions are drop off and participants should bring a packed lunch and snack.

Participants can sign up for one, two or all three sessions which will each cover different ground.
