Pasaulio lietuvių centras, Palaimintojo Jurgio Matulaičio Misija ir JAV Lietuvių Bendruomenės Lemonto apylinkė kviečia jus visus į ypatingą Laisvės gynėjų pagerbimo renginį.
Renginio programa
10:40 v.r. Gėlių padėjimas prie paminklo Partizano motinai.
11:00 v.r. Šv. Mišios Laisvės gynėjams atminti PJM misijoje.
12:00 v.p.p. “Abipus vandenynų” Dokumentinio filmo peržiūra Banio šeimos salėje
2:00 v.p.p. Suneštinės vaišės
Kad saugant valstybinius objektus žmonės nesušaltų, iš namų atsinešdavo karštos arbatos bei maisto ir dalindavosi vienas su kitu. Labai kviečiame simboliškai į renginį atsinešti vaišių, kad vėliau, prieš filmo peržiūrą, galėtume visi kartu pasivaišinti. Arbata ir kava pasirūpins organizatoriai.

In 2026, we will mark the 35th anniversary of the tragic events of January 13th.
The Lithuanian World Center, the Blessed Jurgis Matulaitis Mission, and the Lemont Chapter of the Lithuanian American Community invite all of you to a special event honoring the Defenders of Freedom.
Event Program:
10:40 a.m. Laying of flowers at the “Mother of the Partisan” monument
11:00 a.m. Holy Mass in memory of the Defenders of Freedom at the PJM Mission
12:00 p.m. Screening of the documentary “Across the Oceans” in the Banis Family Hall
2:00 p.m. Potluck refreshments
As they protected state buildings, people in Lithuania would bring hot tea and food from home to stay warm and share with one another. We warmly invite you to symbolically bring a dish to share so that before the film screening we can all enjoy some refreshments together. Tea and coffee will be provided by the organizers.
The event is free of charge.
