Atlas Meditation Sangha w/ Jake: The Stories We Tell Ourselves
About this Event
___________________________
Every one of us carries stories about who we are, stories shaped by experience, relationships, fear, and hope. Some help us grow. Others keep us stuck.
For August, we'll explore the stories we tell ourselves, the masks we wear, and what happens when we begin to hold those narratives with curiosity rather than certainty.
Through guided meditation and facilitated discussion, we'll create space to reflect, connect, and practice together.

In the Buddhist tradition, a sangha is a community that gathers to practice and support one another. This monthly gathering offers a welcoming space to slow down, connect with others, and explore mindfulness together.
Rather than a traditional meditation class, this is a community of practice. Each gathering begins with a practical theme related to everyday life—such as attention, rest, relationships, uncertainty, gratitude, resilience, or purpose—and invites conversation before moving into practice.
Arrive 15 minutes early to pause for A Beginner’s Mind Tea. Enjoy a cup of tea, meet fellow participants, and settle into the space before we begin.
No meditation experience is necessary. Whether you’re new to mindfulness or have an established practice, you’re welcome here. Participation in discussion is always invited, never expected, and listening is considered just as valuable as speaking.
This gathering is offered on a sliding scale of $10–$50 to help keep the community accessible while supporting the continued growth of the series. Come as you are, and leave with a new practice, a new perspective, or simply a little more space to carry into the rest of your week.
