Atlanta Food Volunteering | Vegetarian/Vegan Meals @ Downtown Atlanta

WELCOME to the Food4Lives Community! Every Saturday we gather to serve fresh vegetarian meals to the homeless community. The goal is to serve at least 250 people!
We also encourage bringing any items/ vegan or vegetarian snacks, or cooked meals from home that you would be willing to serve if possible! See the list of slots and sign up for any if you decide to bring extra things

Parking: You will be able to park alongside the road. We encourage either carpooling or paying for parking (about $1 to $1.50/hr) at one of the surrounding areas.

POTLUCK SLOTS:
Since these events are potluck type services, there are slots that you can sign up for to specify how you would like to assist if you decide to bring anything!

The available slots are as follows:

Rice/Bread (5 Slots):
Prepare any way you want. Should be brought in either a disposable chafing dish or a reusable container.

Side Dish (5 Slots):
Can be any vegetarian friendly side dish you want. If signing up for this slot, please specify what side dish you are bringing.

Side Dish Salad (2 Slots)

Snacks (10 Slots)

Water (8 Slots):
Please specify whether you are bringing 24 bottle pks or a 40 bottle pks and how many as a comment when signing up for this slot.

Plates / Utensils (5 Slots):
About 300 10in plates wanted.
For the Utensils, preferably disposable/compostable sporks.
Also can bring paper cups and to-go plates to hand out.
Please specify if you are bringing one or the other and the amount as a comment when signing up for this slot.

Volunteer (12 Slots):
Volunteers will be responsible for helping set up, serving, and assisting in cleaning after the event.
Volunteers can also contribute by bringing additional trash bags, gloves, tables, etc. (If you are registering for one of the slots above and you plan on coming to the event, please select this slot as well!).
If you as a family, group or individual would like to make a dish and bring supplies like water and plates to service at Woodruff Park, please sign up for a slot below!
