About this Event

Join Be the Bridge for a meaningful tour of Atlanta’s civil rights heritage — guided with faith, history, and justice at the center. This experience blends historical reflection, spiritual insight, and community engagement as we explore the sites where God’s heart for justice intersected with the struggle for racial equality.

🗓️ Proposed Itinerary & Spiritual Focus

We’ll walk, pray, and learn through key landmarks in the city that helped shape the American Civil Rights Movement — with intentional pauses to reflect on biblical justice, reconciliation, and our call to love neighbor (Micah 6:8).

📍 Atlanta Civil Rights Sites
  • Civil Rights Tours Atlanta — A guided historical bus tour through Atlanta’s civil rights history. We’ll explore how faith communities shaped this struggle for dignity and justice — and how those stories inspire us today.

🙏 Faith-Grounded Reflection

Throughout the tour we’ll set aside intentional time for:

  • Biblical devotion and prayer on justice and reconciliation
  • Group discussion connecting Scripture with historical insights
  • Contemplative practice at memorials and landmarks

You’re invited to come with an open heart and a desire to listen, learn, and embody God’s call to justice.

We will meet at The King Center: 449 Auburn Ave, NE

You're also invited to join the Be the Bridge team at an optional Saturday lunch at Pascal's after the tour to continue the conversations on civil rights history and what we do now. (cost of lunch not included in tour ticket price)
