Atlanta Beltline Lantern Parade

Created by Chantelle Rytter and the Krewe of the Grateful Gluttons, the Atlanta Beltline Lantern Parade brings together thousands of people, hundreds of lanterns, and some really big lantern puppets for a festive evening of creativity, community, and magic.
This is a night to show off your creativity with your homemade lantern and to celebrate community. Sit and watch from the sidelines or jump in the parade and dance to the music. Let’s light up the night and spark joy on the Southwest together!
A Schedule of the Night's Events:
- 12:00-7:00 p.m.: Atlanta Beltline Indie Market Experience at the Atlanta Beltline Marketplace at Pittsburgh Yards®.
- 12:00 p.m.: Kids Parade lantern-making station begins as part of the Pittsburgh Community Market with Happy Black Parent
- 4:00-7:00 p.m.: Kids Parade festivities at Pittsburgh Yards
- 7:15 p.m.: Main parade line-up begins at Beulah Colbert Park (formerly Adair Park II)
- 8:00 p.m.: Parade step-off
- 9:00ish p.m.: Final jam session at Lee+White
- 10:00 p.m.: Jam session ends
