Check-in Begins
Info: Participants will arrive and enter the venue. We will have snacks and refreshments. We will also use this time to allow participants to meet one another and form teams.
🕑: 11:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Welcome!
Info: Participants will meet the judges, be presented with the rules of the hackathon, and get a chance to ask questions. If accommodations are needed, this would be the time to allow the organizers or volunteers to know.
🕑: 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Team Selection and Planning
Info: Participants will get an opportunity to select teammates or enter solo. Team names and participants must be registered with the judges by the end of this block to ensure they are included.
🕑: 12:00 PM - 01:00 PM
Lunch Break
Info: Although not required, participants are offered this time to take a break for lunch, rest, strategize, or whatever else they may need to accomplish. This is a free block. Note: the judges and volunteer staff will be unavailable at this time.
🕑: 01:00 PM - 03:00 PM
Hacking
Info: During this time, participants and teams will use their skills to build whatever project they have decided on. At the end, each team will be invited up to present and get a rating from the judges.
🕑: 03:30 PM - 04:00 PM
Presentations
Info: Teams will present their end product to the Judges and receive a score. The top scorers will be announced at the end along with a full leaderboard.
🕑: 04:00 PM - 04:30 PM
Winner Announced and Prizes Presented
Info: Prizes will be presented to the top teams as well as a certificate of attendance to all teams who participated in the event.
