ATKHER Brunch at the Carousel Museum

All The King’s Horses Equine Rescue (ATKHER) is hosting a fundraising event on March 15, 2026. From 11:30-2:30 we will be hosting a brunch, silent auction, and raffle at the beautiful CT Carousel Museum. The Carousel Museum is a non-profit organization that preserves and exhibits antique and modern carousel art, and celebrates dedicated craftsmen, to inspire creativity, joy, and wonder. As a child the Carousel was my favorite amusement ride. I would study the horses and have to pick just the right one. It was a dream to ride your own pony and feel like you were flying. At our event, you will be able to travel back in time to when the carousel was the pinnacle of amusement park joy. It is housed with over 100 years of carousel art and history. You will see examples from turn of the century carvers like Dentzel, Herschell Spillman and Stein and Goldstein. A sample carving bay, including hands on activities for little ones with rides on their Venetian indoor carousel for youth under 100 pounds.

At this fairytale event you will learn about our rescue and how we strive for “Happily Ever After.” We are compassionate about all our rescue horses and will also be using this opportunity to educate the public on what we do. This unique event is not one to be missed.
