Venez fabriquer un plateau catalan en osier !
Au cours de cet atelier de 3 h 30 enseigné par Steve Leckman, vous apprendrez les techniques de base du tressage de l'osier, ainsi que la Torche, très pratique pour réaliser divers paniers et autres objets en osier.
Tout le matériel et les outils seront fournis, et vous repartirez avec votre propre plateau catalan ! Il peut servir de sous-plat, de plateau à fruits ou de décoration murale. Le tressage de l'osier est un art magnifique, et ce projet relativement simple est idéal pour s'initier à cet artisanat. Si le temps le permet, nous aborderons également d'autres créations simples en osier, notamment des idées de cadeaux pour les fêtes.
Ceci est atelier d’introduction. Aucune expérience préalable n’est requise.

Come make a Catalan tray out of willow!
In this 3.5 hour workshop, taught by Steve Leckman, you will learn fundamental willow weaving techniques and the 3 rod wale weave which is practical for various baskets and other willow projects.
All tools and materials will be provided and you'll get to go home with your own Catalan tray! It’s useful as a hot plate, fruit tray or wall hanging. Willow weaving is a beautiful art and this is a relatively straightforward project perfect for an introduction to the craft. If there's time, we’ll also cover some other simple willow crafts including gift ideas for the holidays.
This is an introductory level workshop. No previous experience is required.
