We're opening our doors for our second artist residency at Atelier Code Noir, this July, welcoming the incredible Stephanie De Jesús. Puerto Rican born, Stephanie encapsulates Latin American culture in vivid, colour-drenched work iconography that transcends European grey skies and brings Puerto Rico within reach.

Have you ever noticed how muted our walls are?
Raised in Puerto Rico and shaped by life across New York City and Amsterdam, Stephanie's work carries colour as a language. Through expressive portraiture, layered storytelling, and the vibrant palette of Latin America, she paints what it means to carry home with you, wherever you end up.
óleo (Spanish for oil painting) bridges worlds, bringing the warmth and visual richness of the Caribbean into European spaces and beyond.
As always at Atelier Code Noir, we celebrate the intersections of food, culture, and art. Expect classic Puerto Rican food, yes, mofongo and drinks available on the evening.
