Do you love RC cars? Do you love Steampunk?
Do you love decorating something with teapots?
Come and join us for Teapot racing! January 25th at 11am at the Atchison Library.
What is a teapot race you might say? Let me tell you. A teapot race is when multiple people all go out and get an inexpensive RC car. They will then take the car body off but leave the wheels and electronics in place. You will then decorate your vehicle with at least one teapot. Bonus points for decorating to a theme. Then everyone shows up on the date of the race with their creation in hand and will race their teapot through a simple obstacle course. We all cheer and enjoy ourselves. Costumes are encouraged but not required.
Tea and cookies will be provided. Prizes for fastest and best decorated racer.
