You are cordially invited to join Sir Francis Wyatt, Virginia’s newly-arrived Governor in December of 1621, to a classic Virginia holiday celebration complete with costumed interpreters, a cappella singers, a seasonal bonfire and caroling. A unique opportunity to see Jamestown Island aglow with firelight, “At Christmas be mery”: A Special Evening at Historic Jamestowne will be presented on Saturday, December 13, at 5:30pm & 7:30pm. This program will be held rain or shine, so we recommend dressing comfortably for the weather conditions.
You'll be welcome by Governor Wyatt and other dignitaries before enjoying a musical performance by William & Mary’s Christopher Wren Singers. Afterwards, guests will herald in the season by a bonfire with remembrances of “Yule times” past!
