We recently discovered a supermassive black hole in the closest neighboring galaxy to ours--what is it like and how does it affect us? What does the sky look like in radio waves and what can we learn from it? Join us Monday, January 12th at 7:30PM as we discuss these topics and more at our next Astronomy on Tap. We'll host two ~20 minute talks, Q&A, and then follow it up with interactive, astronomical pub trivia, and guided stargazing with telescopes!Astronomy on Tap is a worldwide phenomenon where scientists take over local bars to discuss their research in 20-minute informal talks over beers. We host events at an outdoor space at the Dog Haus Biergarten in Old Town Pasadena. Event is totally free and open to all (including minors), no reservations necessary.
