Pack your picnic, a torch, and your excitement for an evening under the stars at Western Sydney Parklands.
We are hosting this special night of science, nature, and exploration in partnership with the Macarthur Astronomical Society.
Join us at The Dairy Picnic Ground to:
- view the night sky through a telescope
- watch layers of the evening sky develop on an iPad
- explore images projected straight from a telescope.
Event details
- 5:00 pm – Entry opens
- 5:30 pm – Astronomy talk starts
- 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm – Stargazing
What to bring
Please bring your own picnic blankets or chairs. You may also want to bring a torch covered with a red filter or red cellophane. This helps your eyes adjust to the dark.

This program is fully accessible for visitors with limited mobility.
