Join us on Friday, June 19 for Astronomy at the Park!
Astronomy at the Park is a public stargazing event hosted at Resaca de la Palma State Park, bringing together the local community for an evening of guided sky observation, space science education, and immersive exploration. Hosted by the South Texas Astronomical Society (STARS) in partnership with the UTRGV Cristina Torres Memorial Observatory, the event is designed to make astronomy and space science accessible and engaging for all ages.
Additional event activities will include:
* Exhibitions and physics demonstrations
* Hands-on STEM activities
* Stargazing and guided night sky tours
PLEASE NOTE: The Cristina Torres Memorial Observatory is currently under repair and will not be operational during the event.
