Dr. Stephenie Slahor is a lawyer, writer, lecturer, and professor. Astronomy has some heady, serious, puzzling, and mysterious topics that we’ve heard about from our prior speakers this year. But enough of that for now! There is also a fun, curious, and amusing side of astronomy, and that’s where we’ll land tonight. Dr. Stephenie Slahor will talk about “Astronomical Fun!”This free event will be held at the Portola Community Center, 45-480 Portola Ave., Palm Desert, 92260. No RSVP required. Doors open at 6:30 pm for refreshments and the talk begins at 7:00 pm. Open to all ages.
