We want to see a sea of orange flooding through the Baakens Valley! Whether it’s your shoes, your cap, your shirt or even your undies… get into the spirit of the day by wearing orange (FYI, the colour – not the fruit!). With our sponsor, Astron Energy, branding themselves in orange, we thought this would be the perfect way for us to celebrate our team spirit, community energy and love of adventure. Registration and Late Entries 06:30 till 10min before briefing
Race Briefing 10min before start time
20km Start 07:30
15km Start 07:45

General Race Info:
Age Categories for this event
A-Batch Under 13 (Primary School) – 5km only
C-Batch 50 and older (Masters) – 5km; 15km and 20km
No Refunds are allowed, substitutions are welcome and can be done via your Entry Ninja profile.
Pre-Entries will close at 13:00 on Thursday the 19th of February 2026; late entries are welcome on Race Day from 06:30.
Please Note – Due to admin we do charge an additional R50 onto your entry fee for all late entries. Substitutions are welcome on race day at a cost of R150 per entry for late substitutions.
The Astron Energy Trail is Dog Friendly.
