Come learn, talk, share and explore at the monthly Santosha Astrology Hang!Astrology is a language, and we’re lucky to live in a time when more people than ever are learning to speak it! The purpose of these hangouts is mainly just to do that: hang out and talk astrology, so that newer folks can get fluent in the basics, and more advanced astro-speakers can have a chance to stretch their voices and expand their knowledge. We’ll start with an overview of the current astrology and then see how the conversation evolves.
Astrology Hangs will be facilitated by Hummingbird, professional astrologer of 6 years and creator of Astrology for the Revolution, a body of work that combines astrology, history and politics. The space will be trauma-sensitive, welcoming to all gender identities, and held with awareness of the collective soma/energy field. Beginners to astrology are completely welcome, there are no dumb questions, and you can participate as much or as little as you want.
Although it’s not a designated space for personal natal chart readings, bring your birth info just in case, and I will pull up individual charts when they’re relevant to the group conversation. You’re also welcome to take notes (please no audio or video recording though, for the privacy of all participants). Light refreshments will be provided, and snack contributions from participants are always welcome :)
Astrology Hangs are on the 4th Tuesday of each month. Suggested payment $10-$20, no one turned away for lack of funds.
