About this Event
is back for its second year August 7 - 9, 2026 in Mount Pleasant. Hosted at the Astro Club Artist Facility (165 W 4th Ave), the free all-ages festival will feature 30+ experimental murals painted live, street art works, a graffiti jam, the unveiling of 6 large-scale murals, a beer garden, DJ’s, an artisan market, and open art studios. This year, the block party expands into the street, with West 4th Avenue closed to traffic, starting at Columbia Street. Kicking off the weekend is the cult classic gallery exhibition, 100 Amigos, co-curated by, Pablo Zamudio, Drew Young, Douglas Coupland and Graeme Berglund. Astro Arts Festival is a celebration of public art and the creatives, makers, and artists who shape Vancouver.

6pm-8pm: 100 Amigos Exhibition VIP/First-Buyers viewing (buy VIP tickets at Astro’s Patron Program)
8pm-1am: 100 Amigos Exhibition Public viewing
Kick off the festival with the highly anticipated return of 100 Amigos, an exhibition co-curated by Pablo Zamudio, Drew Young, Graeme Berglund, and Douglas Coupland. Music by special guest DJ Hubbz. Find the exhibition at Astro Arts Facility, 165 West 4th.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 8
12pm-10pm: Free block party
Six new large-scale murals will be unveiled and Astro Alley; a live mural, street art, and graffiti jam featuring 30+ artists. The event also features an artisan market curated by Make Good Party, Astro Vintage Market curated by Cabreezy Curates, a block wide beer garden, and with music curated by Ricecake.
SUNDAY, AUGUST 9 12pm-7pm: Free block party
The festival's activations and full-day outdoor block party continue through Sunday, with music curated by B-Dilla
