My heart is so full as I watch our Houston City College Sign Language Interpreter Interns prepare to perform and interpret in McNair Junior High’s production of The Wizard of Oz.There is something so special about seeing students step into real-world opportunities where their skills can make a meaningful difference. These interns are not only growing as future interpreters, but they are also helping create access and inclusion through their work. I am incredibly proud of each of them and all that they are bringing to this experience.
I hope you will come out to support them and enjoy what is sure to be a wonderful production.
