In recognition of Asian American Heritage Month, OCA - Asian Pacific American Advocates - Westchester & Hudson Valley Chapter and the Westchester County Human Rights Commission invite you to join us for Asian Americans and the Law.
Featured Speaker, The Honorable Denny Chin
The Honorable Denny Chin is a United States Circuit Judge for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Judge Chin was born in Hong Kong and was the first Asian American appointed a United States District Judge outside the Ninth Circuit, and the first Asian American appointed to the Second Circuit. Judge Chin and his wife, Kathy Hirata Chin, have written, produced and presented a series of reenactments of historic cases involving Asian American litigants. Judge Chin is a founding Co-Director of the Center on Asian Americans and the Law at Fordham Law School and in 2021 was named the Lawrence W. Pierce Distinguished Jurist in Residence at Fordham Law School.
