Ashnaa Unplugged

This is Ashnaa’s very first own live show on November 9th! Join Ashnaa for an unforgettable evening as she curates a special live and unplugged performance featuring her original songs, unreleased tracks, and some of her all-time favourite covers.

She’ll be diving into a mix of genres, from soulful Carnatic to smooth R&B, jazzy vibes, funky rhythms, and classic soul. Her goal is to create an intimate atmosphere where we can truly connect and share in the magic of music together

Tamil-British singer Ashnaa emerges from a Carnatic background, which has strongly influenced her style. She is an upcoming independent artist, passionate about experimenting with the genres of R&B, Neo-Soul, Carnatic and Jazz to see what new sounds she can bring to the music industry. She started sharing her music through social media in 2019 and has gone on to perform on many stages around the world. She has released her just released her latest debut single “So For Now”, which expresses some struggles with mental health and the effect that has on how it can be perceived from an outside perspective. In 2022, Ashnaa sang for the well-renowned music director Dimman for the movie "Poikkal Kuthirai". She then went on to tour as the leading Singer/Actor role for the theatre production "Orpheus" by Opera North in collaboration with South Asian Arts, alongside artists from both Western and South Asian traditions. Ashnaa aims to make powerful music that deeply connects with her listeners.

Doors open at 18:30 for a 19:00 start. Seating is unreserved for this event as there is no bad seat at Chelsea Theatre.
