Ashley Naylor, one of Australia's greatest singer / songwriter / guitarists, performs a rare full-band show to celebrate the release of ‘Racing Time’, the latest single from the critically-acclaimed album ‘Alexandria Sunset’.A regular fixture on the Melbourne music scene since the days of The Swarm and EVEN, Naylor has recently cast his net wide and landed some of the most prestigious guitar assignments in Australian music. In recent years he has played his guitar on the stages of Australia and the world in the great musical institutions The Church, Paul Kelly, The Stems and Rockwiz. In his guise as a songwriter and co-conspirator, he has lent his words and music to the evergreen local acts The Grapes and The Ronson Hangup.
He is truly in his element presenting his own music with his new rock group ‘Spaceship’ featuring Wez Prictor on keys, Lachlan O’Kane on drums and Richard Bradbeer on bass. Each of these musicians boast a collective pedigree as top flight players and will help Ashley bring his solo material to life in this special showcase event.
