Fox Valley United Methodist Churches Gather for Ash Wednesday Worship at Baker Memorial Church
The Lenten season of self-examination, repentance and commitment to the way of Christ’s cross begins with our joint worship service with congregations of the Fox Valley: Batavia UMC, UMC of Geneva, Wesley UMC/Aurora and host: Baker Memorial Church. The special guest preacher is the Rev. Fabiola Grandon-Mayer, Director of Connectional Ministries, Northern Illinois Conference. Music will be provided by the Chancel Choir. Ashes will be distributed. All are welcome.
